With Halloween just around the corner, the Southern California Rental Housing Association wants you to beware of the relevant state and local guidelines so you can keep your property, staff, and residents safe.
Early voting has started and mail ballots are out. It goes without saying that these are unique times, but nothing has changed how important it is that you vote. It may be more important this year than ever before as the rental housing industry continues to be the target of regulation and unfunded eviction moratoriums. Local Recap
It’s been a busy few weeks on the local level, dealing with both the Eviction Moratorium Rent Repayment date extension in the City of San Diego and a proposal to pursue a mandate that landlords accept pets. The City of Chula Vista also met and extended their moratorium through the end of August. However, the council also approved the formation of a Stakeholder Subcommittee to help craft a more balanced policy. The Southern California Rental Housing Association wishes to thank and congratulate you for victories hard fought.
